This song is one of them and provides a nice background for the video too. This video shows a part of where I live,but I am posting this because I really like the remix of this Bob Marley song. It's a feel good song.

Yes, it is a fun sound I think.

I was always partial to the soundtrack from the movie Cocktail which I thought was a very entertaining movie! I also used to listen to the soundtrack from How The West Was Won as well as Camelot and The Music Man.
7) He grew up in Ortsei, Italy. Located in Northern Italy, the Ortsei economy is fueled by tourists who ski in winter, hike in summer and shop for woodcarvings all year around. Do out-of-towners find their way to your hometown more often in summer or winter?
Oh.. in the summer!! Traffic goes through the roof in summer as people come to their summer homes and Florida snowbirds return to spend the summer here . We also get a lot of vacationers from Canada and Ireland who love our beaches.

ReplyDeleteI’m a bit jealous. I live on Long Island, so I’m never more than a 20 minute drive from the water. But it’s not quite the same as living on the shore, is it?
I am on the bay side. Have to be a little light in the head to live on the ocean side and still, when big storms come it is very iffy to be close to big water.

I think that exposure resonates with some of us and we are always longing to be closer
to the water - marsh , creek , bay , ocean - all fill that hunger ...so glad to visit here !!!

DeleteI am not familiar with any of the tunes above, etc. I guess I was really out of the loop during those years, raising my kids, working, etc., and didn't spend much time with contemporary music. I have no clue about the Kardashians, except that Bruce Jenner was a part of the family and now is one of the "girls"...what a waste! I love living close to the water, even if it is a little muddy pond. The water birds are such fun to watch, and there is never a dull moment watching the reflections of the trees and skies on the water. Where we live now we don't have a lot of "tourists", although a lot of people do have weekend/vacation lake homes in the area I guess. I haven't noticed a big difference yet. Most of our visitors would be snowbirds in the winter. Getting dressed in the morning 2nd article, hmmm, you are probably correct for most of us, but I do think that is a bit personal to be putting out there for the world to see and know! LOL.
