Welcome to Tuesday 4 which was started by Toni Taddeo and kept up in memory and honor of her. How about talking about cosmetics and toiletries this week? Let's jump right in, shall we?
Lately I have been using OGX Teatree Mint Shampoo and Suave Honey infusion leave in conditioner which makes my hair very soft and shiny.
2. Do you have a favorite brand and shade of lipstick and blush?

3. Is soap your favorite for face washing or do you use other products?
I use Kirk's pure soap and Noxema and Pond's face cream. It all works and all I can say is I get compliments on my complexion and I have no lines, wrinkles or crows feet, so maybe they work well.
4. Do you have an all time favorite perfume or scent that you wear? If you don't wear perfumes, is there a scent that you love in general?
I wear a lot of different perfumes but I do love Yves St. Laurent's Paris and Thierry Mugler's Angel.

ReplyDeleteThose are pretty make up shades. The bottom two are the kinds of colors I lean toward when I do wear make up.
ReplyDeleteI love those shades, its because you have beautiful skin that you can wear those. Personally, I can't wear pinks (I have sort of an olive complexion), I wear corals or reds (had my colors done when I was younger, grin). Have a great day friend. P.S. ReplyDeleteI use Pond's, too. I slather their old-school moisturizer on my decolletage. I just like seeing that familiar label on a jar on my nightstand.
ReplyDeleteI know that I had a lovely complexion because as a teen I washed my face with Noxema cleanser and used their milk based cream at night... I had sort of forgotten that!!

I have just started using Ponds regenerest cream for my face. Wish I'd started sooner, but I've always used a St. Ives renewing lotion and it isn't enough anymore. I wear Cover girl liquid "clean" makeup, which used to be made by the noxema corp., but I guess they've changed the name. It still has a little bit of that fragrance in it.Everything else I wear (eye makeup, lipstick, blush) is from AVON. I wear a Rosewine lipstick and blush. I don't wear any perfumes or strongly scented makeup. I used Pantene hair shampoo, conditioner and mousse. I recently got a perm, and the mousse I use is to keep it from frizzing, and it works really well. I needed the perm because my hair has really changed in texture over the past few years, and has lost it's natural body, making for a very flat look that I don't like on me. The perm is a body wave, and really helps me to feel better and not have to work so hard on my hair. I try to keep it all very simple and natural looking (hair, face, etc.) sorry I didn't join the meme today. Had long afternoon of dr. appts, (pre-op stuff) and I am pretty wiped out tonight. Just wanted to stop by and say HI.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your post and answers. The little mouse graphic was cute. I share your love of pink and nude lipstick or lip gloss. As for facial cleansers. I don't use soap anymore. I mostly use gel cleansers and my skin is very sensitive to almost everything.
