Happy Friday! Another week gone by and September, which just began, is quickly turning to October! Come take a walk with me today... the sky is blue , the temperatures are in the low 70's and it is lovely outside.

Tourists have headed home ... we have the ocean back to ourselves. |
You are blessed to live where you do. It looks so peaceful! I have been referred to a cardiologist now for more test. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI bet you are relieved when the tourists go home and all is peaceful again. And then they come down here to spend the winters, "snowbirds", and many places are just inundated with those people all winter long. I am glad we are not in a true snowbird area. We get a few, but they are not the overbearing ones who push their way around and think they are better than all the "natives" here. They flock to places like "The Villages" and the gulf coast and take over the roads and parking places and stores and beaches. Yes, they may "boost the economy", but they also hurt the natural resources of water and space. We all breathe a sigh of relief like you do when they head back up north for the summer. Love your peaceful pictures. I know you are enjoying the peace and quiet.
ReplyDeleteThey leave us and their summer homes and go to you. They are the bread and butter of industry here but not many came this year because of the scamdemic. Traffic is what increases here in summer. But lack of tourists puts people out of business along the shore and boardwalks. Of course restaurants are still closed here so many have lost everything.
DeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos as always Annie. I just love the scenery where you live. I'm wondering about all those flip flops? Did the tourists leave them there as trash? Enjoy your weekend. xx
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos...thank you !
ReplyDeleteAs to all those flip flops , they are dropped off there , as one might leave one's shoes by the front door , before venturing in .It is easier to come back when heading home than to carry them to and fro !
