Odds & Ends

Doing the Tuesday 4...

Welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4 kept up in her memory.
We offer 4 questions for you to ponder and consider each week.   Hopefully they make you stop and think and even get to know yourself and other Bloggers a bit better.
Here we go discussing some personal thoughts this week....

Padparadscha Sapphire
1. Do you have a favorite gem stone? Why is it a favorite.
I have many. Diamonds, Padparadscha (orange or peach sapphires), peridot, amethyst, especially the super pale amethyst called Rose de France.  But I think I want that Padparasha sapphire!

2. Do you know and  understand the doctrines of your religious faith?
I know what they teach but I do not follow all of it as men are fallible and much of organized religion is simply not biblical in any way.
If you are not religious, do you have a personal doctrine you believe and live?
If this question is too personal.. tell us about your pet or favorite pastime.

3. Do you have a favorite décor style... as in classical, traditional, modern, mid century, colonial, etc?
What do you like about it?     I like so many that it's ridiculous but in the end I like traditional the most especially as a style to live with.
Traditional Decor

4. Are  there any books or movies you want to see this summer?   Not as yet.  Perhaps I will find some and perhaps you can suggest some.    I really wish we had an online book club.

  1. Hi Annie, your answers are very short and sweet. But it's always good to read from you. I hadn't heard of the peach sapphires before so I had to look them up. I love learning new things. Have a wonderful week ahead.

  3. I haven't heard of some of the gems but I think I'll search online and look at them. Love traditional...with an eclectic mix.

  4. I've never heard of that particular sapphire, but it's beautiful. I've never been part of a book club, that may be fun.

  6. That is a very pretty ring! I use to have the basic traditional room, but now it is mixed and comfortable.

  7. Such pretty gem stones and I like that ring, too! I've never lived with traditional furnishings or at least not strictly, but I do like that room you pictured. For traditional, it seems very cozy and welcoming.

  8. If I repeat myself today please forgive me. Lots going on. Always hard for me on my sister's anniversary in heaven. (2001) My lil chi girl Lulu is 4 today. She makes me happy. Beautiful ring. Loved your story here. Thanks and blessings to you all week long.
