Book and Movies and TV
Welcome back to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4. Just 4 questions to make you think, react and get to know your fellow bloggers who are probably way nicer than you can imagine and more interesting than we realize!
1. Which is better... the book or the movie?
I often find the movie better,. I like being able to see what is going on and to put faces to the characters. Sometimes I've already "seen" it in my mind and have preconceived ideas and then the movie disappoints. But generally I like the movies.
2. Got a reading list for the year? (Or a movie list ) Found a real winner you will share with us?

Movies... I have none on a list right now. Any suggestions?
3. What TV shows are you watching lately?
I am still enjoying Midsomer Murders. I would like to find some newer ones as well.
4. Is there an actor or actress whose movies you consistently enjoy? '
I like Sandra Bullock, Billy Bob Thornton, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio.... and some of the old school like Joan Crawford, Elizabeth Taylor, Paul Newman.

I've never watched the Midsomer Murders but I would probably enjoy these shows. I'll check them out. We've only been watching some of our old DVDs. Instant Family sure is good. Have you seen it? Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI never thought about the old time actors. 2 of my favorites were Rock Hudson and Doris Day.
ReplyDeleteAnother interesting post !
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the British mysteries , too , including "Rosemary and Thyme" .
Hearing the "political"views of modern actors does take "the bloom from the rose" , as far as them being favorites . Somehow , remembering that they are paid to say what is demanded of their character is no help !
Wishing you all good things !
We enjoyed the Midsomer Murders. I don't know if they are in a new season yet. Have you ever watched Murdoch Mysteries? They are from Canada. Not sure where you can get the older seasons, but they are on season 15 now, and I can only find it on Acorn TV, which we have to pay for. I like Murdoch Mysteries I think better than Midsomer Murders, although both were pretty interesting. Hope you are doing well. Have a blessed and wonderful rest of your week.
