Reading

today's weather

Welcome friends. It is time for another of Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4!
We are supposed to have a few rainy days and we can use it.   My house faces north so my lawn is not
too crispy but the southern facing neighbors are fried crispy and golden brown.   How is yours doing?
This week's Tuesday 4 is about reading.    You can join in by following the link on my sidebar.

1.  What book brought out your emotions and why?

It was a little story called  "Mister God, This is Anna".   It is a very hard book to read.   It tells the story of a little girl and her close relationship to her Creator.

2.  How has reading changed your life both for good or for bad? What you get out of it?

I have learned quite a lot from reading and increased my education.    I read more non fiction than fiction but I do know I have learned something from fictional author's point of view.

3.   What character(s) do you love and which do you hate and why?

I love the characters of  Hercule Poirot, Miss Jane Marple etc. by Agatha Christie.   These characters have integrity, personality and grit, things you can admire.

4.    What book or books  do you think everyone should read once in their life time?

The bible is my first recommendation. It is filled with wisdom but, especially the book of Proverbs. It is all the wisdom you can use if you think things over.

See you tomorrow my friends.

  1. I was recently telling my Bible study friends about Mister God; sad that none of them had heard of it. Great choice! I don't know whatever happened to my copy, but I may have to find me another.
