Reading....

Welcome back to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4. We enjoy having you here and love reading your responses on your own blogs. I sure hope you enjoy the questions and seeing what others have to say.

Would you like to talk about books?

1.  If you had to flee this life and there was a possibility to actually live in a  place based on a story or book or movie, which would you choose and  why?   I think maybe Rivendell from Lord of the Rings or Prince Edward Island as in Anne of Green Gables.  PEI Is one of my favorite places in the world and I certainly could live there. Miss Reed's village in the Miss Reed series sounds nice too.

2.  What kind of story line do you just not like either in books or movies.   I do not like horror!  I am not much into Sci Fi though I have read a bit of it.

3   How many of the Great Classics have you read and/or popular book series?  Quite a few as there is a reason they are called great classics.  They are enriching in many ways.  In my high school we read tons of Shakespeare, Pilgrim's Progress , Dante's Inferno,Don Quiote,   Moby Dick lots of Tolstoy.  In French class which I took for 4 years we read the French greats in French like Guy di Maupassant,  Victor Hugo, Balzac, Dumas... all of that.  In Russian class we read Anna Karenina, Dostoyevsky and Pushkin  in Russian.    But I had a rough time getting into things I was told to read and frankly preferred other things.

4.  There are reading playlists available for various genres of literature. Do you play any music while reading?

Sometimes, yes and that is why I know about such music.  It can be helpful.  Sometimes though, you just want some peace and quiet to read.   Some of the dark gothic music is interesting though.

Wow! When was this? Do you speak Russian?

    Rivendell is fantastic. 😊

    1. I learned Russian in high school. My history teacher was Russian and he taught us after school in a club. Now, many years later I have forgotten too much. I never got to use it really.

    2. Very cool opportunity. When was this? I have studied the language a bit. Sometimes in conversation I can pick out a word or two. 😂
