More rain storms on the way.   I love them so no problem there.  How's the weather in your neck o' the woods?

1. Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car?
A horse and a bike.

2. Who is your favorite author?
Robert Parker

3. Would you rather vacation in Hawaii or Alaska, and why?
Hawaii because it is so beautiful and would be easier for me to get around than Alaska.

4. If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to?
The 1950's keeping open an option to ger to the 2000s for medical care.

5.  What's your favorite zoo animal?
Penguins are nice.

6.  What's the tallest building you've been to the top of?
A revolving restaurant in  Niagara Falls, Canada  called Skylon Tower which is 502 feet tall.,

7. How often do you buy clothes? 
Every few years.

8. What was the last thing you recorded on TV?
Nothing at all.


9.  What was the last book you read? 
Reread: 44 Charles Street by Danielle Steele.

10. What's your favorite type of foreign food?
Mexican and Italian are tied. But my favorite comfort food is British

11. What kitchen appliance do you use every day?
My  beautiful new refrigerator

12. How old were you when you learned Santa wasn't real? How did you find out?
I have no idea about this at all.

13.  What was your favorite subject in school?
Chemistry and cooking

14. What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten?
Nothing unusual.  I don't like exotic foods.   Perhaps Buffalo fits the bill but I don't consider that unusual, just better than beef and lower in fat.

15. What's your favorite family recipe?
My mother's spaghetti sauce was the best.  Her fish and chips were the best known to mankind.  My grandmothers Apple Pies were wonderful.  My Grams Cornish Pasties were to die for at lunch time. At lunch I usually got a pasty or rarebit or a ploughman's sandwich with  thick cheddar.  
 OK, I am making myself hungry now.

  1. We went to the Old Songs folk festival near Albany on Friday. So glad we went there then instead of Saturday (yesterday) when it POURED. Today's forecast is not great either.

  4. I enjoyed your answers. I don't know much about British food, but I love fish and chips...does that count?
