There will be a horse show this weekend. My daughter is dressing her horse up as the headless horseman. I think that will be pretty cool.
We are thinking of dining out for Thanksgiving this year at a local winery. Never did that before so it might be a nice change of pace.
Hey there... welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4.We rely on cars to get just about everywhere today, so maybe we should talk about them a bit. Okay?
1. What is the earliest car you remember your family owning? Do you recall the color or the plate number?
I remember the plate number very well., My father had a Mercury in a light blue. We always had a new car every two years since my mother's brother was a vice president at Ford and we got cars at cost.
2. What does your states license plate look like? Do you like it?
There are a few.. one with the state flower, the violet, another with the Statue of Liberty since it is really in NJ and not New York.
3. What color is your car now?
British Racing Green
4. Did you have a car as a teenager? If yes, what kind was it?
Ha! Nope. My town was small and a walking town really. If I went outside the town I rode the bus or my parents took me.
British Racing Green... a Mini Cooper? Great color!
ReplyDeleteNot sure what color of green that is, I need to look it up! How nice to get new cars every two years! That was good advertisement for the company! My uncle used to always have a Mercury, but I think they also had an Edsel, but I'm not sure now. Happy Autumn!
ReplyDeleteIn the summertime , when I was very little , and having a hard time going to sleep , my Dad would tuck me into the back seat of his midnight blue Cadillac convertible and drive around a bit . Lying there , cool breezes washing over me , I could look up into the night sky and its myriad stars...so beautiful and comforting...and somehow , drift off to sleep...
ReplyDeleteThe Autumn colors are spectacular this year ! wishing all of you a wonderful day !
I don't think anyone here had a mercury car. Most cars here were of German making.
