Our weather has been up and down. The other day was 88F and only 27 % humidity which made the day so beautiful. But the last few have been in the low 50's and pretty darn chilly at night. How has it been for your area?
We are expecting the return of the Snowbirds from Florida. They have their summer homes here along the New Jersey seashore. Unfortunately, they make traffic a bit of a challenge in summer. And not only snowbirds but the tourists come from North Jersey, Pennsylvania, Canada and Ireland of all places!
Despite the traffic we are happy to have them come and enjoy our beautiful seashore.
I hope Monday is a great day for you and I will see you on Tuesday for Tuesday 4! Be there or be square!
Yes, now you will have the crowded roads/restaurants/shopping places, etc., that Florida has been "enjoying" all winter long! LOL. Although, I must say, Florida is getting way overcrowded year round, with the influx of people actually moving here permanently from up north. I can't blame them for wanting to come, but there is only so much space on this peninsula, and sooner or later something will have to give. Even our little town is starting to have growing pains and soon our peaceful country town will be over crowded even though the prices of land and homes continues to sky rocket. Most people seem to be escaping New York and New Jersey because of their high taxes and lack of decent government. But I won't go there and make this political. We are all too aware of it already. I hope you have a lovely, peaceful, and beautiful summer!! It's already in the 90's here every afternoon...way too hot too soon, but that's just how it is here in the summer. Thank the Lord for whoever invented air conditioning! LOL.
ReplyDeleteNJ is an even smaller peninsula!! But take heart, many are moving back up because Florida is not what they expected (too crowded, too buggy, too hot and they can't find affordable homes anymore) Hahaha, people can't make up their minds can they? I
DeleteIts 66 here today at 2PM and cooling. Lovely day really.
I would love to visit there some day! Hope you have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteOne of my niece's and her mom were just in New Jersey. The mom (my sister-in-law) grew up there. She had a good time reconnecting to her family, seeing the home she grew up in and remembering all the fun things that happened. That brought a smile to my face too.

Hi, Annie! To be able to live near the ocean can be ideal, even when the weather isn't balmy. Welcome those snowbirds back and be thankful for the boost in your economy in that area.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
We are very grateful for our tourists ! Most of the snowbirds are original citizens of NJ who, after retirement, bought winter homes in Florida. Many have grandkids here.
