Welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4 kept in memory of her.
Let's talk about food this week shall we?
Most people enjoy eating good food after all.
1.What is/are your favorite foods to eat ?
There are a few: I like Italian food, Greek food, Mexican food. One of my all time favorite foods is stuffed cabbage. I love cabbage and could eat it every day. I also love meatloaf with rice and cooked carrots.
When my back is really bad, its hard for me to stand and cook so I use canned goods and ground meat..
My favorite breakfast is French toast or fried eggs. The French toast is rare though.
Favorite lunch would be a sub sandwich.. especially a Philly cheesesteak. It's rare that I eat lunch and if I do usually that takes me right through supper. Many times I will eat half for lunch and finish it for supper.
2. How often do you cook at home and what kind of meals do you make?
I cook at home every day of the week. I make meat loaf, fried chicken, spaghetti, beef stew, stuffed cabbage, cabbage and potatoes, fish, London broil, stir fry beef, etc. I used to make enchiladas but only when making food for more than one. Chicken crocquettes also.
3. When you go out to eat what foods do you find yourself ordering most?
Fish and chips if they have it. It's favorite of mine. I also like Chicken Picata and Creole Chicken too.
4. Can you recommend a restaurant in your area? Why do you like it?
Any Italian restaurant in New Jersey is great. It's authentic and tasty and you get treated like family.
Seafood resaurants are plentiful and good as well.
It certainly sounds like we both enjoy a lot of the same foods and so many at that, lol. I'm sorry about your back issues but I'm glad you've found a way to handle the cooking needs despite the challenges.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness. All of these foods are making me so hungry. I would love to go eat Italian with you. I bet it is so much better than our choices in Missouri...hahahaha. Loved your answers! Have a great day!

I'm so fortunate to have my husband as the chef in the house. Everything he fixes is amazing! Blessings, Annie!
ReplyDeleteHi Annie! Loved your answers. Wishing you a great Wednesday! xo
ReplyDeleteAhhh , a favorite topic of mine !
ReplyDeleteThe Italian and seafood restaurants are wonderful !
Annie, I can't seem to find where I can see the past links from others. I was trying to go back and comment on everyones posts from last week and can't find it. :(
ReplyDeleteI LOVE italian, seafood and grew up eating stuffed cabbage. I've kind of made a "deconstructed" version that is good. The meals you make at home all sound like ones I'd like.
