This is just a reminder that Tuesday 4 is now available.
I hope everyone will join in. The more the merrier.
Monday is from the Anglo-Saxon word Mōnandæg which means "The moon's day" and by moon we mean the moon god. Moon is mona in Angle-Saxon.
There are lessons in learning Anglo-Saxon online and it seems to be very easy to learn if you are an English speaker and especially if you studied Old English and Middle English in school. Did you have to read Beowulf and The Canterbury Tales? We certainly did and I am so glad we did. It forms a good strong basis for learning.
So, for Monday... Keep yourself busy. Idle hands are the devil's workshop.
Keep on the sunny side. Find things that keep the gloom away and think of good things.

I like this song
ReplyDeleteI'm keeping on the sunny side of life always, Annie. Have a marvelous day!
ReplyDeleteI love the Carter Family and their 'down home' style of music. Yes, I will keep on the sunny side and I hope you do too. ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteLet us greet with a song of hope each day
Though the moment be cloudy or fair
Let us trust in our Savior always
To keep us everyone in His care
Each new day is a gift...that's why they call today The Present !
ReplyDeleteAdorable Morning Person painting !!!
