A Hodgepodge

Wednesday is hump day.
Once you are over the hump you move seamlessly to Friday and the entrance to the weekend!
Here by the seaside the weather is warm, sunny and milld with a high of 75°F, humidity 65% and a low of 69°F.

From  This Side of the Pond.... Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. The midpoint of summer (believe it or not) is August 7th. Describe a perfect summer day. Have you had one this year?
I suppose the perfect day is a day where you are happy doing what you are doing.   The perfect day is one where you are enjoying life and people.
You can list things that would be nice but in the end it all depends on how you feel and the situation around you.   All of the things you like could be present but if there is a negative feeling or etc. it won't be a perfect day no matter where you are.

Still.. the boardwalk, a huge bucket of fresh french fries.
The bucket is really big by the way and the fries are cut and fried on the spot from real potatoes.
Or sitting by the bay with a cup of coffee.

2. What's one thing you wish you knew before starting high school?
That it would be some of the best days of my life.

3. What's something that bothers you if it's not done perfectly?
There are things that bother me but not because they are not done perfectly.  They bother me because they are not nice.

4. What's the most overrated food you're convinced people are just pretending to enjoy?
Maybe sushi.. though I think people really do like that.

What's a trendy food you actually do enjoy and would say is definitely not overrated?
I really enjoy deep fried hot dogs with mustard and sauerkraut and it is not overrated at all.

5. Wrapping it up this week with five fun this or thats...
  • personal stylist or personal chef?         Personal chef!
  • dance like nobody's watching or sing like nobody's listening?           Both.
  • unlimited tacos or free pizza?  Oh come on...that's just not fair.           I want both.
  • bookshelf organization-by size or by genre?             Both. By genre then arranged by size.
  • ten minutes late or ten minutes early?  10 late.   Bad form to be on the dot unless it's a meeting or service of some kind.  But to someone's home you arrive a bit after the appointed time, just not too late as that is rude.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I love the bay. It's been in my life since I was a baby.......
