Labor Day is here and on the beaches it is considered the end of summer as lifeguards will not be around much longer. Stores will be open... laboring men and women will not get much out of the day at all it seems.
Welcome to Sunday Stealing,
Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers to all of us thieves!
Since it's Labor Day weekend, we're going to keep this simple. We stole this from a blogger named Idzie, who called this the F.A.B. (film, audio, book) meme.
F.A.B.
F. Film: What movie or tv show are you watching?
I am watching YouTube and the testimony of Richard Alexander(Buster) Murdaugh at his father's trial.
I am not watching any regular programs anymore.
A. Audio: What are you listening to?
It is Sunday morning early and the house is silent. I can hear the birds in the yard. Birds are already flying south and a lot of them stop by my pond for a drink. I've created a place where they can bathe and drink. They are scraching around for breakfast too but there were not a lot of birds around this summer at all and bugs are scarse. Many blame 5G and I believe they are correct.
B. Book: What are you reading?
On another questionaire I had said I would begin reading The Island by Elin Hilderbrand for the 3rd time.
And there you have it ... another week has begun. Japanese scientists have found that when people agree on something changes can happen. When people pray, changes occur and when they are thankful even water will purify.
Let's agree with one another that this will be a wonderful week for us all.
Tuesday 4 is up and running HERE. I hope you will all join in.

BRRR! It is chilly where you are! It has actually been cooler here in Alabama, too. We will have a low of 59 one night this week. This is rare in August in Alabama! We are enjoying this pleasant weather. The hummingbirds are migrating back through Alabama. We've had several fighting over the food in our courtyard. They are very vocal and very territorial!
ReplyDeleteI can hear the birds out in my yard too. We had a night in the 50's a couple of nights ago. Good sleeping weather for me. It has warmed up again here though. I do believe prayer changes things. Loved your answers! Have a nice day!

The birds have been dying off since the 1990s. This summer has been crazy with the temperatures and rain.
ReplyDelete"Japanese scientists have found that when people agree on something changes can happen." In the US, that seems far away, whether it be immigration, gun control (Minneapolis where children were wounded and killed in a church, the weapons debate is on autopilot), and so much more. Alas.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of birds aroun my area, I find sitting and watching as well as listening to them relaxing except when they are making a lot of bloody noise.
ReplyDeleteThere is a subtle change in the air here in Florida too! Just a tad bit cooler, but still warm and muggy by most standards. We need RAIN desperately where we are. Our pond has never been this dry at this time of the year. I'm concerned that the geese won't be able to swim on our pond this fall, and we will miss them. Yes, I will pray and agree for good things to happen this week. Amen!!
ReplyDeleteThere is a little very little subtle change here in Florida, I can't help thinking some sort of tropical system will be brewing. Keeping in prayer, Annie. ☺
ReplyDeleteThe body seems to sense the change in season...craving something hot , instead of salads . Even the oven , dormant during summer , whispers of muffins and iron skillet corn bread ....aahhh...each season brings its favorite foods !
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful week, Annie!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your FAB today!! Hope you're enjoying a great Labor Day. Beautiful photo, the water there is so blue. Our gulf waters are not that pretty.
