“The safest road to Hell is the gradual one — the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts.” C.S. Lewis
All this stealing going on this week... one couple steals from some lady and then its stolen again and now here we are stealing it too.
Notice the bright yellow kitchen... I think its AI because look at the drawers above the cabinets. How convenient!
Welcome to Sunday Stealing. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers to all of us thieves!
This week we once again turn to husband-and-wife bloggers, Jeff and Charli, who are getting our week started with a meme inspired by one they stole from Jennine.
1) What do you typically have for breakfast?
Eggs.. fried, scrambled, or poached.
2) What was your favorite breakfast cereal when you were a kid?
I liked Kix but we rarely had cereal except Cream of Wheat. Mostly I had eggs and toast for breakfast as a kid.
When I was older I loved Fruity Pebbles!
3) Orange juice, tomato juice or cranberry juice?
I like pineapple juice and I actually like prune juice but rarely have them.
4) What time is your alarm clock set for?
It's not set for any regular time.
5) Do you have any tips for preventing stress and making the morning go more smoothly?
Sleep 8 hours or more, lay out your things before you go to sleep.
Try to change your attitude toward things. See hard things as a challenge. We are here to grow holy, righteous character. Growing takes muscle, muscle takes exercise and hard work. Look at your difficulites as lab classes where you are being taught how to cope, how to handle things with a challenge to do it better each time. See things as opportunities to knock off your rough edges and deal with people better tomorrow than you do today.
If your job or school stress you out far too much, look elsewhere.. plan on a change. Make a job out of looking for something new. Then use the wait as a class in patience and endurance.

(((grinning))) Wishing you a lovely Sunday my friend.
ReplyDeleteI'm the same about my breakfast, Annie, and love my egg, toast and bacon each morning. Have a relaxing Sunday!
ReplyDeletePineapple juice is my favorite, too.
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful header !
ReplyDeleteHope you have a terrific day !
I like your stress relieving tips, I also like the sound of eggs and toast for breakie
ReplyDeleteThose little drawers above the cabinets are really special, aren't they?? LOL. Otherwise it's a nice little yellow kitchen. I like eggs and toast for breakfast, sometimes with grits, or sometimes a fried egg sandwich. I like cranberry juice mixed with unsweet tea. I hope you have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteLoved your answers, Annie! My usual breakfast consists of 2 eggs and some kind of carb, either oatmeal, grits or fruit. When I was a kid, it was Sugar Pops! Loved that cereal.
ReplyDeleteThe sunny kitchen is pretty and very cheery although I think the drawers up at the top would be a bit inconvenient! They are probably, like my mother always used to say, for "show" and not for "blow."
Have a great day!
