Hello friends and internet family.
It is raining cats and dogs and the sky is dark and forboding as I post this on Thursday afternoon.
Lots of flooding here by the bay and on the ocean side of the island.
"It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents—except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind which swept up the streets (for it is in London that our scene lies), rattling along the housetops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps that struggled against the darkness". from the novel Paul Clifford by Edward Bulward-Lytton.

Ominously dramatic sky. Lovely captures.

Lovely post. I enjoy dramatic skies and the prose.
ReplyDeleteThe gale force winds here were fierce !
ReplyDeleteThe tree tops were dancing in the wind...definitely not a lovely waltz , but a frenetic jitterbug ! Hope all are safe !
