A Happy 10

Since I live right on the coast of New Jersey and weather maps show it getting minimal snow as opposed to the rest of the state. I am hoping that will turn out to be true for us. We stick out quite far from the rest of the state and have a slightly warmer and different climate. 

Oh, and in the previous post the snow photo is from a few years back, not lately.  We did get a dusting last week but it was gone over night.

Tonight, Saturday at 8PM its 16F but no snow yet.

We found this one at CreativeGene. It's designed inspire "happy thoughts on a frigid January day." Obviously temperatures vary based on locale, but it's a lovely sentiment, so let's go.   

Here are 10 things that make me happy:

1.Living "down the shore" as it's called in NJ.

2. Being with friends and family

3. Going for drives

4. watching a nice movie

5. having money.  I know the old saying that money can't buy happiness but I seriouly disagree!

 Not many are happy when they are unable to have food, shelter, clothing, medicine etc.  Having an adequate amount of money can solve those problems and add a lot to your happiness.   When you are hungry it's hard to be happy.

6. Being warm in winter and cool in summer

7. Enjoying a good laugh 

8. A delicious  meal.

9. Being outdoors with the fresh coastal air, sunshine and a nice breeze.

10. The scents of balsam and cedar on the air.
