This week's meme was stolen from blogging mom Blue Milk. Back in 2008, she stole it from an invitation-only meme. It was originally a very loooong meme, with more than 100 questions in all. Too much for me! So it's been pared back to 35. If that still seems daunting, remember all you have to do is bold the ones you've done. If you'd like to elaborate, feel free.

Have you ever ...

1. Slept under the stars.  Yes, I have slept under the stars dozens of times. I've done a lot of camping in New Jersey and in Utah.  As a girl scout I  also camped in survivor mode camping.. 

2. Played in a band.  Yes in elementary school.

3. Visited Hawaii.  No, but I wish I could.

4. Visited Easter Island .   No. 

5. Watched a meteor shower. Yes especially the Leonids.

6. Seen the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. No. I've never been to England and really not interested in going.

7. Been to Disneyland or Disney World   No and not inteested in going there either.

8. Climbed a mountain . Big hills, yes, high mountains like K2 or Denali.. no.

9. Held a praying mantis.  No.

10. Been to the Louvre  No

11. Had food poisoning  Yes. 

12. Eaten vegetables you grew yourself.  Yes,,, mostly tomatoes and lettuce.

13. Slept overnight on a train   No, but I'd love it.

14. Built a snow fort    Many, many times!

15. Held a lamb.  No but I held a fawn.

16. Gone skinny dipping Accidently when the surf in Miami pulled off my bikini. 

17. Been on a cruise (day cruises and dinner cruises count).  Yes but I was very sea sick.

18. Seen Niagara Falls .  Yes many times.   I love the Canadian side of the falls.

19. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors  I am a Heinz 57 and I have visited part of my ancestors birthplaces which  is native to upstate New York.  The rest of my ancestors come from across the Atlantic and I never visited there.

20. Sung karaoke   Once in Prince Edward Island.

21. Sat for a portrait. Yes a long time ago on the boardwalk in Wildwood and  for my cousin who was a professional photographer and though I photographed well.

22. Walked on a beach by moonlight            Probably hundreds of times.

23. Been transported in an ambulance Yes too many times.

24. Gone scuba diving or snorkeling   Nope and no interest either.

25. Kissed in the rain   Yes.

26. Played in the mud       As a kid most likely.

27. Gone to a drive-in theater All the time when I was younger.

28. Changed your vehicle's oil yourself.  No, but I rebuilt a carburator.

29. Taken a martial arts class.    No.

30. Visited the Vatican. No but my kids have and are in Italy right now.

31. Volunteered at a soup kitchen or food pantry  No.

32. Sold Girl Scout cookies   Yes, for many years.

33.Bought a used car   In Utah, after picking up my son from first grade, my transmission the truck went.  A  man in the neighborhood had a car out front for $15,00 and I left the truck parked on the side of the road, bouth the car to go the 9 blocks home.

34. Sat on a jury     I got called up for jury duty all the time but was excused all the time too.

35. Ridden an elephant    Nope.
