For Today
Looking out my window
Today is cool at 73F and a bit cloudy. My window is cloudy itself and must be replaced.
I am thinking
About the state of the nation. I have seen this coming for quite a while: a division straight down the middle between good and evil.I am thankful
To recall what King Solomon said, that what was is and what is was and that nothing is new under the sun. Nations rise and fall. It is nothing new.One of my favorite things
My big pond with reflections of Wisteria on the surface and sunlight illuminating the sandy bottom, where clams live. You can see some of my fish there too. How deceptively shallow it looks but it is 4 feet deep there.
I am creating
I am wearing
Short navy pants and a light gray tee shirt with my town name and an anchor on it since we are a bayside town.I am listening to
Documentary on YouTubeI am hoping:
To do things this summer and get out more but it looks like I will be staying home all the time because of back issues yet again. Not up for trips or long walks. In my kitchen
I have begun to eat mostly vegetables for summer. I hope to improve my health,.
In my garden:
Closing Notes
History, as you've learned it, is a scam and a cover up of truth.Keep your mind open, always be skeptical, question everything and everyone. Have no heroes except God and you will be on the right road every time.
How nice to be able to sit around the pond and watch the fish in silence and peace. Wonderful! I'll have you in prayer that your back issues disappear dear Annie. Bishop Sheen's quote is never outdated and is right on in today's world. How I miss his shows. Love all the plants by the window and that little guy made me laugh. Just got back home from spending the day with Phyllis. Have a day of blessings my friend.
ReplyDeleteGiggling over the creamer/coffee statement--it seems we share the same issue, LOLOL. I just love all those plants, I bet they like the window just the way it is, so leave it, smiles. Keeping you in prayer, as always, smiles.

ReplyDeleteI love your violets. They look like mine. I hope I will have a proper window for them in the new house. The house faces east, so the kitchen windows on the front of the house should be okay...I just need to create a good shelf for them as the window sills are not that wide. I love your pond reflection, and your garden pics. I am sorry you are suffering with your back so much again. Praying for you to feel better soon. I like was Fulton Sheen said, it is so true. I try to speak with conviction about what I believe, but those who disagree are so loud and hateful it is hardly worth trying...so I see why it happens the way he stated. We just get tired of the arguing. Life is too short to constantly be arguing over history and other things, but if we don't stand up to the bullies they just keep trampling us under. Yes, our country is in a sad state. Praying hard. Well, I've got to get to bed. Busy days ahead with this move. Just wanted to say hi, and let you know I'm still here!
ReplyDeleteYour violets are so pretty and I love your pond, what a nice thing to have and enjoy. Our world and our country are in such turmoil, but God is coming to redeem us. Whether I'm alive or in the grave I know He's coming for me.
