Friday Photos and SkyWatch Friday: The Bay, Red ,Gold and Green

Green salt marsh, blue bay and  orange-gold sunsets.  Life by the bay is good.
In another month the marshes will begin to turn golden but everything else will stay the same until the bay freezes over, if it gets cold enough, that is.
Joining in for Friday Photos and Sky Watch Friday.

  2. I just love the 'little' floating, smiles. Thank you for the lovely photos...I noticed while driving to school early yesterday morning, that the sumac was turning yellow and there are little hints of color everywhere, smiles.

  6. The Dogwood tree out back has been flirting with autumn colors since early August -
one branch only . The Maple will soon follow ,as will the Ginko down the street , who turns a brilliant yellow...beautiful !
Looking forward to thick soups and hot tea...and your autumn barn headers !

  7. So peaceful and beautiful. I love the floating scene too...I guess you don't worry about alligators and water moccasins up there. That is a blessing. Enjoy your late summer/early autumn. And pray for Dorian to go away!

    1. Hi Pam, nope. No water moccasins or alligators unless someone wanted to plop them into the creek. It's crystal clear cedar water flowing through the pine barrens. The open bay is a block up ahead.
