The phragmites has gone from green to gold as autumn moves along and temperatures have gone down quite a bit since September. Thursday and Wednesday saw high winds howling through the area and small craft warnings hoisted along the water.
Join me tomorrow for Saturday 9.
The water is always so blue in your pictures. The Houston Ship Channel runs through Sylvan Bay, sometimes the water looks muddy. :(
ReplyDeleteBeautiful to see your world today Annie. Have a wonderful weekend. xx
ReplyDeleteI love the scenic beauty around your neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots.
ReplyDeleteI love that lone Canadian Goose sticking his neck out so you could capture his picture just for us! That is cool! Love the phragmites too...I am watching them here on my pond doing the same thing. Isn't that fun? We are so far apart but have similar things to watch. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteDid you see the babies in the water? This particular photo was taken back in March when the geese were having their families. :)
DeleteI love looking at the bay through your wonderful photos Annie. It's so peaceful and calming even in choppy waters and wind. Many blessings my friend.
ReplyDeleteTop! Very nice photos. Aaaah so sweet the two babies.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, I love your header art as well.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos ! You capture the waterfront beauty so precious to me...thank you !
ReplyDeleteThe past few days have been gusty and started with a Nor'Easter...not much fun to
drive through...sigh . We have the sun today...so good to lift the mood and see beautiful autumn colors beginning .
Enjoy your day , my friend !
