SkyWatch Friday and Friday Photos.

A   rainy Friday here along the coastline yet again this week.  Yesterday was so bright and sunny but the next couple of days days are supposed to be rainy.

I took a few photos from a small snow squall. Nothing major, just a squall along the shore, but it shows how Mother Nature can decorate so nicely.

Holly tree and ice crystals on the tree.  Perfect little baubles of ice all along the branches.

Big branches fallen down and topped with decorations

A stormy, icy sky but the smokey beige and grays are just beautiful. The failing sun lights up the bottom of the cloud bank.
Snow flakes falling on the pond. The fish go deeper in the winter and are fine even in very cold weather. I do provide them with a great heater that keeps a big hole ice fee so they always have oxygen. I also run the pump and waterfall as long as I can. They don't get  fed in very cold weather since their metabolism slows and they hibernate a bit.

If you didn't see yesterday's Literary Pearls post, why not take time to read it? I post them in an effort to get people interested in classic literature.

  1. I love a fresh snowfall and the beautiful it creates. I usually like rain here after days of sunshine in winter. It means warmer weather.Have a wonderful weekend.
