Welcome to Tuesday 4 in memory of Toni Taddeo...
This week let's talk about books and TV programs you enjoy.
1. Are you enjoying a book right now and would you tell us about it? I am re-reading "Number in Scripture" by E.W. Bullinger. Very interesting book on numbers and their meaning.
2. Do you have a list of books you are looking forward to reading in the near future?
I have a few books on real Welsh history and King Arthur that I am planning on reading. British history is mostly contrived and falsified. The books are "The Discovery ofThe Ark of the Covenant " by Wilson and Blackette as well as Adrian Gilbert's books "The Holy Kingdom" and "The Blood of Avalon".
3. What's on television (or YouTube, etc.) at your house?
I have been watching some movies on YouTube and Netflix that I have not
seen before. I am still watching the British series "Midsomer Murders"
which I enjoy very much. I highly recommend it.
4.What series have you followed religiously and why? (can be TV or book series)
For
books it would be the Robert Parker series on Spenser and Jesse Stone. I
love his quick flowing writing style. I also religiously followed the
Agatha Christie series of Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot.
For TV programs I follow Riverdale which I have enjoyed a lot. I was also following Legacies with the Famous Anonymous but she is a bit busy with her schedule of late to watch with me.. I miss it a lot.
Thank you for joining in again this week.
Good Morning , my friend !
ReplyDeleteLove your header...it's one of so many of yours that I love...so hard to pick a favorite !
I love to read...used to curl up , as a teen , in Dad's grey tweed wing chair and read for hours ! There were many nights when I saw the dawn , in order to finish an interesting book . Lately , as my time is not my own , that luxury is not possible . When I greet the dawn now , it is in response to an insistent alarm clock reminding me to get up and deal with the new day !!
Hoping your new day brings peace and joy...
I am with you on the Agatha Christie. Midsomer Murders has been on my list to try for ages, thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteI need to get caught up on Riverdale. Fun questions this week! Happy Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your questions and answers.
ReplyDeleteHave a good Tuesday.

The Discovery of the Ark of the Covenant? I'm intrigued. Do tell.
ReplyDeleteI liked reading about your specific likes!
ReplyDeleteHmm, Midsomer Murders... I keep seeing that one on our list of shows, but wasn't too sure about it. Now maybe we will check it out when we are done with "The Saint". You've also listed some others that sound interesting. I may have to check some things out...and get back to reading again.
ReplyDeleteThe Midsomer Murders sounds good! I think I would enjoy that one. Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

I enjoyed reading your answers. I'm not familiar with the books or the programs you are watching. I'm into romance novels and sit comes on TV.
ReplyDeleteI love Midsomer Murders, especially the ones starring John Nettles. Agatha Christie is another favourite - always guaranteed to be a good story.
ReplyDeleteI've not watched those shows although my husband does like some of the British shows. I'll have to ask him about Midsomer Murders. That may be something we'd enjoy together.
