Sunday Stealing

Hello..  Joining in with Sunday Stealing..

sushi? NO!

1. Do you like sushi?     No, I don't like it at all.

2. What color is your car?      Blue

3. What is your favorite thing about the place where you live?
The beach.. the ocean, the clean, fresh salt air and fresh fish!

4. Are there brands of certain items that you will ONLY buy that brand? ie paper towels, ketchup etc.
I  buy imported Italian brand canned tomatoes as they are extremely low in sodium... 25mg as opposed to the USA brands that are 400mg or more.      I also only buy Rienzi canned beans (kidney, garbanzo, lentil, black) because they are also  extremely low on sodium.    American made foods contain dangerous levels of sodium.
I buy  Organic Valley Milk. no GMO, etc.

5. Are you allergic to any food? Animals? Plants? Medicines?  yes.

6. Have you ever been stung or bitten by an animal?
Stung by bee when I was very little   .. bitten by a nasty Dalmatian.

7. Do you have a favorite bird? Do you feed the bird at your house or the park?
This seagull is a regular visitor.
I don't really have a favorite bird. I think Cardinals are very pretty and Chickadees are cute.  I like seagulls a lot.
I sometimes feed them, but, I don't like that it brings too many around and cover everything with bird
poo. Birds are pretty dirty really.

8. What would you recommend binging on Netflix or similar?  Anything that catches your interest.
Midsomer Murders was good. There are so many to see that are interesting

9. What is your proudest achievement?     My family

10. Do you have or are you from a big family?       No. not anymore.

11. What do you do for exercise?          move around!

12. What would be your favorite breakfast? (You didn’t have to cook it yourself.)  I guess pancakes  or waffles.  I also love fried eggs with fried potato, fried mushroom and tomato and fried bread.. YUM

13.  Is there an item that you really want but can not afford?   Home repairs and a car.

14.  What was the farthest distance you made for your holidays?  35 miles when I was younger, first married and living at Princeton.    We celebrated at my parents home.

15. Are you afraid of speaking in public?    No. I can do it with some ease.

Tonight Tuesday 4 goes up! Link on side of blog here.    Until later....

  1. #3 - I wouldn't mind living on the coast. We're not too far away (probably an hour or so).

    #15 - I wish I could do that. I'm envious.

    :o)

  2. That is awesome you do not mind public speaking. It makes me feel sick when I have to do it. Loved your answers! Have a nice day!

  3. Birds really are rather dirty/messy things. I used to keep parakeets. I loved their colors and singing, but hated cleaning up the mess that they always seemed to manage to fling several feet out around the cage no matter what fancy cage I tried that promised to stop that. I like seeing the seagulls when at the shore, but learned my lesson about feeding them. They get too excited and then poo everywhere...not a good thing when they are in the air above you! I always call them the rats of the sky.

  5. The good things about your flying seagulls here , would be that they do not "drop their regards" on the page , nor nag for French Fries , when one is snacking in the car !
I enjoy public speaking , too . The trick to it was to remind myself that what needed to be said was more important than how I felt about saying it !!
    Have a wonderful day !
