Friday Photos — Moods of the Sea

Are you ready for a weekend?    Do the weeks seem to be flying by rather quickly lately?   It seems we just finish one weekend and another is here on it's heels.  I know the world speeded up with the Fukushima disaster but only by a few seconds. Still it proves that time can speed up, days can be shortened as well.
Today will be partly sunny with highs in the 70's. Temperatures are going down here on the eastern coast of the USA. How are they were you are?

Here on the coast, the sea changes daily from mirror finish calm to roiling, boiling wild. From navy blue to angry silver foaming and spitting at everyone.    Here are some of her many moods.    I am joining in for  Skywatch Friday  as well.
By the way, as I write this at 12 :53AM , it is 5:52 AM  in London and people are still streaming by through Westminster Hall to pay respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth lying in state there.

  1. So very lovely, the different "moods of the sea". I love this. And all the quotes are perfect as well. I love the last quote about weeds and flowers. That's my feeling as well. I love "wildflowers" and don't consider them weeds at all. They are a part of God's amazing garden! Have a blessed and wonderful weekend.

  2. Beautiful, poetic images and perfect quotes to go with them.

  3. Wildflowers are a gift to the universe. As I walk there they are perky and beautiful sometimes swaying in the cool or hot wind. When I drive there they are along the roadside breaking the green acres with different colors like in a rainbow. Such treasures!
