The Gold of October

G
ood evening!   Those words usually put me in mind of Alfred Hitchcock who opened his TV program with that greeting.

This has been an uncomfortable week physically with terribly humid days. One very foggy day was 100% and very nasty  if you have injuries or etc.    Tonight it is cold and windy by the seashore.   I do hate to see October go as the song says.   It is a wonderful month full of glory and color.  To me, it is the nicest month of the year.

Some pretty photos will make the weekend better I am sure so I will join for Skywatch Friday and Friday Photos though it no longer has an official site.
Note: All photos are mine except for the last one and I don't know who took that one.

  1. Oh, I love these photos and the quotes. You always find such appropriate ones to match the picture. And I love your painting at the top! Such talent!! I am sorry the weather has had you feeling a bit "under the weather". I pray some nice cooler, crisper, drier air will come and take away the aches and pains. We've had a lot of dry air and really could use the moist air and rain again, but I do understand how it affects ones body. I hope you have a lovely last weekend of October. With November comes a season of thanksgiving, and then we arrive at the door of the stable and Christmas! This year has just flown past us like a freight train in a hurry to deliver its load! I'd kind of like to slow down for a spell. Have a blessed weekend my friend.
