Seaside Photos

Weeks pass by very quickly. Time itself speeds up from time to time.   We know that it sped up with the Fukashima disaster. Japan itself moved over 8 feet to the right and the day became shorter.   Add to that the fact that the calendar is way off and getting farther off by the year we know that something will have to be done to correct the calendar.
But we keep on keeping on as the saying goes.
Here on the coast of  New Jersey we are watching the storms in the Atlantic and hoping they skip the entire eastern coast entirely.   It is not easy to build back from hurricanes or   nor'easters.  I had to wait years for a new roof after Hurricane Sandy.. a cat 5 that knocked us into the stone age.  I was without power for weeks on end and the temperatures were in the 30's.

Here are some Friday Photos and some for Skywatch Friday.

"His eyes were the same colour of the sea in a postcard someone sends when they love you but not enough to stay" —Warsan Shire

"He: Whale you be my valentine?  She: Dolphinitely"  —Adam Young

"Hark, now hear the sailors cry" — Van Morrison

“Look at that sea, girls--all silver and shadow and vision of things not seen. We couldn't enjoy its loveliness any more if we had millions of dollars and ropes of diamonds.”—Anne of Green Gables

  1. LOVE the photos of the sea...and those two dolphins body surfing are amazing! What a great photo! Loved the quotes also. So appropriate. "whale you be by valentine..." was a great one. I am praying the storm goes away out to sea and not too close to thee...seriously praying for the whole coast of New England, Canada, etc. Hurricanes are never fun for anyone. Take care and stay in touch with us.
