Simple Woman's Daybook
I am thankful... for the beautiful weather we've been having lately.
I am listening: to the sounds of late night outside... crickets, frogs, a barn owl.
I am wearing... a bright blue stripped long sleeve shirt and jeans.
I am creating... this post and considering what to do for autumn and the up coming holidays.
I am going... no where in particular.
I am wondering... about buying heritage seeds and also growing some mint and watercress in the pond.
I am reading... I'm reading online catalogs in a search for some lamps , some storage dressers and a carpet.
I am hoping... for good news and happy days and that more will join in for Tuesday 4.
I am learning... How wise it is to stay out of the dealings and problems of this world and that if its a politician, and its speaking, it's flat out lying.
Around the house... getting thimgs ready for autumn. Considering what lamps to buy to replace 2 that are not working properly. I have mostly Tiffany lamps and I've found a nice one at Wayfair.
I need to get someone to clean out the house gutters.
In the kitchen... I am brewing fresh Hazelnut flavored Chock Full O' Nuts coffee.
Outside my window... The day is cloudy and cool. It is breezy and refreshing out. It might rain on Tuesday.

I am thankful...for the lovely weather lately.
One of my favorite things... opening windows on a lovely day to let the outside in a bit. Sitting outside by the water.
A peek into my day: Freshly cleaned bathroom...

Oh, I am jealous of your weather and being by the sea, smiles. Wishing you a beautiful day my friend.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to cooler temps so that we can finally open our windows, too, Annie. May your week be blessed!
ReplyDeleteThe days have been lovely lately...so nice to enjoy breezes through the screen door !
ReplyDeleteThe Porch Garden is getting close to its transition to spend winter inside , at least for the herbs that don't survive outside in containers . Almost time to "clear the decks " !
