Creative Adventure Meme

It's Thursday so time for Toni's meme...

bob cat in stokes state forest, New Jersey

1. While hiking in one of the many trails in the State Forest, you come across a sleeping  Bob Cat!

 2. You pick it up to study the object more carefully, then realize they are pretty doggone big and very dangerous and you are an idiot for having done this! You put the sleeping cat down, and tiptoe away promising yourself a trip to a psychiatrist as soon as you can get an appointment. You wonder if your insurance covers that.

You imagine talking to the receptionist to make the appointment:
          Dr. Boombotz

Me:"Yes, I need to make an appointment to see Dr. Boombotz please?"
Receptionist:"Of course, what is the problem?"
Me:"Well, on a hike I picked up a 50 lb bobcat."
long silence....
then:
Receptionist: "Yes,Can you come in right away?"

3. Just below the clearing you see this wonderous waterfall.

4. With much to remember on this hiking trip, you hurry on over to Dr. Boombotz's office for the help you need so desperately

.
A favor please... would you mind taking a minute to go over and see the Famous Anonymous Kid's blog?It would mean a lot to her.
She just started 6th grade the other day. She is anxious to show off her blog and get "followers". It's HERE

Hello, Kitty

In my never ending quest for more and better Hello Kitty anomalies, I have found more to add to the list.
I find it fascinating how Hello Kitty is so beloved, especially in the Orient.

Would you like  a lovely Hello Kitty toaster for your kitchen?
This would  make an old cliche wedding gift more timely and up to the minute not to mention child-like.
Look at the slice of bread. It even toasts the bread with the face of Hello Kitty right on it.
Who could resist starting the day off with a bit of Hello Kitty magic?
Frankly what little kid wouldn't like a slice of toast like this?

Another must  for the bride is a stand out bouquet.
For your Spring and Summer wedding this year , a Hello Kitty bouquet is an absolute must, but only if coupled with a lavish Hello Kitty designer wedding dress.

Fur trimmed no less and designed by Sanrio for the discriminating bride .
She will be purring all the way down the aisle.
Or clawing and scratching, we don't know.
Just be sure to provide litter box and scratching post and the rest will take care of itself.
If bridey-poo  can find  a veil attached to fluffy kitty ears I think that would complete the whole ensemble quite nicely.
Perhaps a pair of fluffy white slippers for her dainty paws?
Do you think there is Hello Kitty music for the wedding too? We can write some I am sure.

Even  the family Pup can attend the wedding in style in a complete Hello Kitty ensemble. Just look at the pink paw-shoes. No cold damp feet here.
The hat is a major fashion statement for the Doggy set.
Tres Chic!

Ride off for the honeymoon on this fully outfitted motorcycle.
Just hike up the skirt on your Hello Kitty gown and off you go for a week's stay at a Hello Kitty resort of your choice.

Or, if biking isn't your thing how about jetting away to the Resort inside this EVA Air Hello Kitty jetliner ?
It can take you right to Taiwan for the honeymoon.

Don't forget to pack this lovely Hello Kitty car length coat for those chilly days and nights in Hello Kitty Land.
You never know when you might need some fashionable extra warmth.

This keyboard might make a novel gift for the bride who has everything.

And then of course, while on honeymoon you have to pay attention to security. We live in perilous times don't we?

And so, here yet again is another version of the very powerful, yet absolutely adorable Hello Kitty taser.
You can stun the heck out of attackers while still looking cute and trendy!

Now for the resort itself..... Hold your breath as you are taken away to LaLa Land for the time of your life.

Yes a Hello Kitty resort in Taiwan where you can relax, pretend , eat gourmet foods and shop Hello Kitty 24/7.
A  glorious fun filled two night stay is only $1200.
Note the little umbrella covered bistro tables for outdoor dining in front of each cottage.

Relax in your own cottage filled with distinctive hello Kitty furniture.

And settle in at night with a lovely all pink, all Kitty bedroom.

Snooze peacefully in this pink palace!
Why there is even a television if your honeymoon is boring!
Now, that's service.
And yes, these are actual real life sized cottages for you to stay in while enjoying the resorts accommodations.

These little golf carts will get you around the resort in a comfortable jiffy.
They look cute. And look! They have an onboard basket to hold your purchases from the Hello Kitty mall.

Enjoy gourmet meals and desserts all with your favorite character there to delight your taste  buds and your senses.

When the stork makes his first delivery,  you can make sure that Junior makes his debut inside a 100% fully functional and outfitted Hello Kitty maternity ward.

Hello Kitty has come a long way since her first world debut.

What We Wore to the Oscars

By far the nicest Oscar gown and suit.
And Michelle Obama is supposed to have toned arms? Oh please.. look at these and compare.
Hmmph, not by a long shot Michelle.
This is a switcheroo, but, he makes a pretty stunning babe.
Gloves are tacky though

Sue me, but I did like Reese Witherspoons sedate black and white gown. Just so lovely.
I often think plain is better than over the top.
She needed a stunner of a diamond necklace though. Just maybe a bit more "bling"?
I love sparklies!

And I thought that this black velvet number was  so very classical  with the elaborate glittery cuff.
Must have been prettier in person though. The photograph doesn't capture what it had to be like.
Dark velvets are always stunning especially if there are sparklies to be shown off.

Everyone's favorite eccentric spinster auntie, Helen Bonham Carter, did not disappoint us.
A tall pointed black witchy hat was missing though and the fancy broom.
It's a "bad girl of the fairytale" look.

But you know what?  I think Carter has a whole lot of fun dressing up.
Get a load of the Union Jack on the calf! Very patriotic.
Rule Britannia!

Another Gothic bride look . Even the Oscars can't get away from the just dragged from the crypt look.
Didn't she do this once before?

Everyone looked nice. Even the men wore tuxedos which they seem to disdain sometimes in favor of tennis shoes and tee shirts. Ugh.

I enjoyed the Oscars though many thought them boring and not as exciting as they could have been.

Best music award should have gone to Beethoven for his moving music in The King's Speech.
The rest was not that impressive I thought and who is it that told Gwyneth she had singing talent? Oh man... no no no.

Classic, lovely but no bling... You have to add that bling with black I am telling you!!!
 The earrings are not enough.
She had better not move too fast with that top either.

I am not sure what to make of Celine Dions spun silver dress.
The emphasis it puts on the tummy is not great, but the material is stunning.
Over all I just am  not that fond of it I suppose. Its a bit cocoon-like.

I always think Sandra Bullock looks nice.
This dress is a looker I think. One of the best of the bunch.

Here is my own Oscar frock.. what do you think..
And yes, its a Photoshop but that is my head  and my face and body manipulated to remove the models huge shoulders and muscular arms too, to represent me.

A pretty good likeness over all.
And, I kind of like the dress.
Don't be afraid to 'diss' it though. I am not afraid. much.

Ok whose dress did you like at the Oscars.. and more importantly:

Now.....What did YOU wear to the Oscars?
Get out your PSP or whatever and make yourself an Oscar night Gown or just do a post showing a dress you would most like to wear to the Oscars!

Don't be lazy.. get busy.
I want to see you in your gown!

It's a Hello Kitty Day

cool , partly sunny day.

I was looking on the internet for some information I needed and came across tons of Hello Kitty things. I just had to share some of it with you because it's so cute and some is so silly like this coffee maker for instance:

For only $74.96 (marked down from $99.99) you or your kids can own this Hello Kitty coffee maker and cup.

If you have youngun's who need an extra boost before school in the morning this might be the thing huh? (just kidding!)

If you just are into conversation pieces I suppose it might make a sort of statement too. It is cute but $99.99?  Oh, please!

The Hello Kitty craze has been around for a long time. I remember just school supplies and small purses and note paper years ago but now there are even automobiles that are from the Hello Kitty line and people actually drive them.

Imagine this Ferrari in your driveway? Actually I think it's kind of cute in a desperate sort of way. And I like the idea that you would probably never lose it in a parking lot.

"YOU" wouldn't, I would, but thats a whole other story.

This is for a more conservative driver I think. Kind of a nice pink/white combination. Something for the slower driver too. Even the insides of these cars have Hello Kitty themes and plush seat covers, pink dashboards and all kinds of Hello Kitty gadgets.

There is even a Hello Kitty notebook for the glitterati among us who like to use computers that make a fashion statement.

This is pretty snazzy in a preteen glamour kind of way. I could see using this and having fun with it.

The site says, "The key part of the spec is obviously that it has 299 Swarovski crystals, rather than the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system, 1GB of memory, 100GB hard drive, or unnamed processor (a Mobile Sempron 3400+)."

I saved the best for last.

This is the real deal.
Real diamonds and pink sapphires make up this Hello Kitty ring. It is sold at Neiman Marcus for $4520.
Now you know you want one!

Sapphires are almost as hard as a diamond. Red sapphires are rubies (which are more expensive than diamonds now) and orange sapphires are called Padparasha.

I just thought all this stuff was pretty cute. It might be silly but on the other hand it is kind of nice that there is a sweetness like this in the world which has gotten pretty harsh of late.
There is even a maternity hospital in Japan that is completely done up in a Hello Kitty theme.

How is your day going?
